I've been using SocketLabs to shoot out emails every two weeks to a high school alumni list with just over 10,000 contacts, and let me tell ya, it’s super simple. I usually grab an old email, tweak it a bit, and make it fit my current needs. It’s a piece of cake to highlight web and email addresses. Plus, the end result always looks top-notch. Just an hour back, I would’ve rated SocketLabs with a full 5 stars. But now, they’ve put our server on hold due to high spam content, even though the same email has been sent out 7,000 times over the last two weeks. They also decided to suspend it over the weekend when there’s no help available until Monday afternoon since they operate out of the U.S. It’s frustrating, especially when their site claims they offer 24/7 support.

We’ve tried out MailChimp and Constant Contact for our past email campaigns. While those options are decent, they really hit the wallet hard. Then we stumbled upon SocketLabs, and we haven’t regretted it one bit. The services provided by SocketLabs are more than enough to get the job done without breaking the bank. If you’re on the hunt for a different option, we suggest checking out SocketLabs first.

SocketLabs is great for our needs. We’re pretty low-key users of the service, mainly relying on the SMTP feature to send alerts from our rental home located 1800 miles away. Over the past few years, we’ve found it to be reliable with hardly any downtime. It operates smoothly without the extra fuss and snooping that comes with using Gmail or Yahoo for similar tasks. We've utilized SocketLabs in a bit of an unconventional manner and have been quite pleased with what they offer. The only hiccup we've encountered is that a few devices don’t seem to connect with the SMTP server for reasons we can't quite figure out. We rely on SocketLabs' SMTP service to send alerts and updates about equipment in the field to those who need the info. Back in the day, this was a breeze with almost any SMTP server you had a connection with, and even some you didn’t. Nowadays, that’s not the case. While we’re not heavy users of SocketLabs, we’re really thankful that this service is available since there aren’t many alternatives out there these days.

SocketLabs serves as an excellent alternative to our AMS. While our AMS includes its own email system, a lot of our association members face issues with receiving emails because of their campus settings. However, emails sent via SocketLabs always make it through! Plus, crafting and dispatching emails is a breeze, and checking the reports is straightforward. I've tried several other email services and I can confidently say that SocketLabs is top-notch.

Prior to trying out SocketLabs, we were constantly facing issues with bounced emails, complaints about spam, and more. They assisted us in setting up the outgoing mail configurations, which made a huge difference. Their 'suspension list' tool stops us from sending emails to invalid or blocked addresses, which helps keep us off the spam radar.
